Honor Pad X9b Max puts a 13-inch screen in UAE shopping carts at AED 999 for the standard 4GB/128GB model, with the Paperlike Edition at AED 1,299 per tbreak.
The LCD runs 2500×1560. Honor advertises up to 120Hz, though tbreak measured lower in browser tests. A 10,100mAh battery supports up to 45W charging, with quad speakers and an IMAX Enhanced claim. The review unit used Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 and 4GB RAM. MagicOS 10 on Android 16 covers split-screen, Docs, and Notes, without the full PC mode of premium MagicPads. Weight sits near 618g with thickness around 6.72mm.
Gadgets Middle East and The Integrator add regional texture. Western coverage is thinner, so UAE sources should lead the hub News tab.
Who is the AED 999 story for?
Students and families who want a big screen for browsing, schoolwork, and casual streaming. Not editors chasing speed. Not 4K media workhorses. The catch rides beside the headline on purpose: big canvas, modest chip and RAM.
What should student campaigns say?
Lead with size and battery. Mention Paperlike Edition only when the matte writing finish is the gift hook. Keep MagicOS productivity features in the demo, but don't promise laptop replacement. Point parents at the AED 999 versus AED 1,299 trim choice with live retailer checks.
Your move: Put AED 999 and the performance catch in the same sentence on every poster so the size headline never travels alone.
